What do I need to open an account at Taptap Send?
Signing up is simple, safe, and secure. You'll need to be a UAE resident and verify your identity with your Emirates ID.
How do I verify my account?

UAE-issued documents only. Non-UAE documents are not accepted.
How do I pay?
You can pay by debit card, directly from your bank account, or from your Taptap Send wallet.
The following cards are accepted:

You can connect your bank account securely through the app and pay directly without entering card details. Note: some banks charge their own fees for outgoing transfers. This is separate from any Taptap Send charges and is set by your bank directly. Once your bank account is connected, you may see Taptap Send (DIFC) Limited appear in the list of beneficiaries on your bank app. This is expected.

How much does it cost to send money?
There are no transfer fees on top of the exchange rate. The cost of your transfer is built into the rate we offer you. For some destinations, additional fees may apply. You can find the details for your destination in the app when selecting the country, or in the dedicated sending guide for that country.
Wallet-to-wallet transfers between UAE Taptap Send users are free.
What is the Taptap Send wallet?
UAE customers have access to a Taptap Send AED wallet. You can load it with AED from a card or Apple/Google Pay, then use your balance to send money abroad or to other Taptap Send users in the UAE.
How do I load my wallet?
If your wallet balance is AED 0.00, you will be prompted to add funds before you can send. The app will guide you through the process step by step.
Wallet-to-wallet transfers

What are my sending limits?
Your sending limits depend on your verification level. The standard limits are:
- AED 37,000 per transfer
Rolling limits also apply. You can check your current limits in the app at any time.
