How do I link my UAE bank account?

To send money from the UAE, you may need to connect your bank account to Taptap Send. This is a one-time setup. Once connected, Taptap Send will be added as a beneficiary on your account and you will be able to start sending.

Your credentials are securely encrypted throughout the process. Taptap Send does not have access to your bank account at any point.

To get started, open the app and tap the Connect Bank Account banner at the top of the screen, then select your bank from the list.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB)

1. 1Select Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank from the list.
2. 2Enter your username and password.
3. 3Enter the OTP sent to your phone by SMS.
4. 4Enter a second OTP sent to your phone by SMS.

Taptap Send will be added as a beneficiary within 3 hours.

Emirates NBD (ENBD)

You will need the Emirates NBD app installed on your device before starting.

1. 1Select Emirates NBD from the list.
2. 2Enter your username and password.
3. 3Enter your Smart Pass token. If you are unsure how to get this, follow the instruction link shown on screen.

Taptap Send will be added as a beneficiary within 24 hours.

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB)

1. 1Select Dubai Islamic Bank from the list.
2. 2Enter your username and password.
3. 3Answer the security question associated with your account.
4. 4Enter the OTP sent to your phone by SMS.

Taptap Send will be added as a beneficiary within 4 hours.
