UAE: How do I create a Taptap Send account?

Getting started with Taptap Send in the UAE takes just a few minutes. Here is what you need and what to expect.

Step 1: Create your account

Open the Taptap Send app and tap Sign up. You will be guided through the following steps:

  1. 1Accept the user agreement and licence information
  2. 2Enter your phone number, you will receive a confirmation code by text
  3. 3Set up biometrics to log in faster (optional)
  4. 4Enter your email address and create a password
  5. 5Choose whether to turn on notifications (optional)
  6. 6Provide personal details

Step 2: Verify your identity

Once you have completed sign-up, you will need to verify your identity before you can send money. You will be asked to:

  • Upload a photo of your Emirates ID
  • Take a selfie

Once approved, you are ready to make your first transfer and access your Taptap Send wallet.
