What cards can I use with Taptap Send?
Using a debit card is the most popular way to pay for a transfer. Here's what we accept.
Cards we accept
- Visa debit and Visa Electron
- Mastercard debit
- Discover (USA only)
- Maestro (not accepted from the UK, and not if prepaid)
- Postepay (Italy only)
- Bancontact (Belgium only, Maestro cards only; leave the CVV field empty)
- Sofort by Klarna (Germany only — you'll be redirected to your bank to authorise the payment)
- iDEAL/Wero (Netherlands only)
- Credit cards (accepted in the UK, in most Eurozone countries, and in Czechia, Denmark, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Romania, and Sweden — not yet in Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Croatia, Luxembourg, Malta, or Slovakia)
- Pre-paid cards (accepted in the USA, UK, EU, UAE, Czechia, Denmark, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Romania, and Sweden)
- Cartes Bancaires (France only)

We accept corporate cards in most countries. The exceptions are Canada, the UAE, and Australia.
Cards we don't accept
- Prepaid cards in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand
- American Express
- Maestro (from the UK)
- Corporate cards (in Canada, the UAE, and Australia)
- Credit cards (in the USA, Canada, UAE, and Australia)
