Bank transfer: No action needed. Money is deposited directly into their account once the transfer is processed.

FDH, TNM, Airtel: No action needed. Funds are credited directly to their mobile wallet.

What details does my recipient need to provide?

Bank transfer: Their full name, bank name, and account number.

FDH, TNM, Airtel: No details needed at collection. Make sure you enter the correct mobile number when sending, as money is sent directly to the wallet linked to that number.

How does my recipient cash out?

Bank transfer: Funds are available directly in their bank account.

FDH: Funds are available in their FDH wallet. They can withdraw cash at any FDH Money Bureau Service Centre, FDH Bank Service Centre, or FDH Kiosk, or via the FDH mobile banking app.

TNM: Funds are available in their TNM Mpamba wallet. They can withdraw cash at any of the thousands of authorised TNM Mpamba agents across Malawi. There is no cash out fee for the recipient.

Airtel: Funds are available in their Airtel Money wallet. They can withdraw cash at any authorised Airtel Money agent or Airtel customer care shop. A small cash out fee applies, based on the amount withdrawn.
