Sending limits
Your overall account sending limits are based on your verification level. Lebanon-specific limits per delivery method:

Cancelling a transfer or requesting a refund
If your transfer has already been delivered, recalling the funds can be difficult and take time. It is sometimes easier for you to resolve this directly with the recipient who received your funds. Contact our support team through the app and we will look into what options are available for your transfer. If no options exist, we will let you know.

Does my recipient need to do anything?
MTM Cash Pick-up / Whish Cash Pick-up Your recipient doesn't need to do anything in advance. They just need to visit an agent location to collect their money.
Whish Lebanon Wallet Your recipient must have an active, registered Whish wallet before you send. If they don't have one, the transfer will likely fail and the funds will be returned to you. They can download the Whish app and register at whish.money.
What details does my recipient need to provide?
MTM Cash Pick-up / Whish Cash Pick-up Your recipient will need:
- A valid government-issued photo ID
- The redemption code (sent to your recipient via SMS)
Whish Lebanon Wallet No action needed from your recipient, the money is credited directly to their wallet.
How does my recipient cash out?
MTM Cash Pick-up
Your recipient can collect at any MTM agent in Lebanon. Agent opening hours are not fixed, so it's worth calling ahead before making the trip.

To collect:
- 1Visit any MTM agent location
- 2Show a valid government-issued photo ID
- 3Provide the 11-digit RIA PIN, the sender's full name, their country, and the expected amount
- 4Sign the receipt and count the money before leaving

Whish Cash Pick-up
Your recipient will receive an SMS from TapTap Send once the transfer is sent, containing the sender's name, the amount, and a 12-digit pick-up code.
Which agent should your recipient visit?
- For amounts over 200 USD: we recommend Official Whish Agents, Talaco Agents, or IPIN Agents
- For amounts under 200 USD: TapTap Send recommended agents can handle the cashout. It's worth calling ahead to confirm before visiting.
Weekend note: most Whish agents are closed on weekends, but Official Whish, Talaco, and IPIN agents remain open until the afternoon.
To collect:

- 3Give the agent the 12-digit pick-up code
Only the recipient whose name appears on the transaction can collect the transfer. There is no cashout fee. All transfers are paid out in USD. If your transfer amount includes decimals, or requires small bills (10, 5, or 1 USD), the agent may pay out at the LBP market rate. Check with them before proceeding.

Once sent, the money arrives directly in your recipient's Whish wallet, usually within minutes. They'll receive a notification in the app.
