If your transfer has already been delivered, recalling the funds can be difficult and take time. It is sometimes easier to resolve this directly with the recipient. Does my recipient need to do anything?
Bank transfer: No action needed. Money is deposited directly into their account once the transfer is processed.
Cash pickup: Yes. They need to visit a participating UPT cash pickup location in person to collect their money.
What details does my recipient need to provide?
Bank transfer: Their full name, bank name, and IBAN. Only IBAN account numbers are accepted for bank transfers to Georgia.
Cash pickup: Their full legal name and a valid ID. You can also share the pickup code with them directly from the app, by tapping the transfer and using the Share code button.
How does my recipient cash out?
Bank transfer: Funds are available directly in their bank account. Delivery time depends on which bank they use.
Cash pickup: Your recipient can collect their money instantly at any UPT cash pickup location, including Liberty Bank branches. See the full list of cash pickup agencies. They'll need to bring a valid ID and the pickup code you share with them.
