Bre-B: send money using a key your recipient has registered with their bank. This can be their mobile number, national ID, email address, or a custom alias.

Cash pickup (Éxito): your recipient collects cash at an Éxito store.

Can I cancel my transfer or get a refund?

If your transfer has already been delivered, recalling the funds can be difficult and take time. It is sometimes easier to resolve this directly with the recipient. Contact our support team through the app and we will look into what options are available. You can also refer to our global article Can I cancel or get a refund for my transfer?

For your recipient

Does my recipient need to do anything?

Bank transfer: Funds arrive automatically in your recipient's bank account once processed. If your recipient has a Bancolombia account, they need to activate IMT (Abono Automático) before they can receive international transfers. This can be done through the Bancolombia website or at a branch.

Nequi and Daviplata: Funds arrive directly in your recipient's wallet. No action is needed as long as the wallet is registered and active.

Movii: Your recipient will receive a notification asking them to accept the transfer. They need to be a registered Movii customer. Once they accept, the funds will be credited to their wallet.

Bre-B: Funds are sent to the account linked to your recipient's registered key. No action is needed.

Cash pickup (listed above): Your recipient needs to visit the pickup location in person with a valid ID to collect the funds.

What details does my recipient need to provide?

Bank transfer: full name, bank name, account number

Nequi, Daviplata: full name, mobile number registered with the wallet

Movii: full name, mobile number registered with the wallet

Bre-B: registered key (this can be their mobile number, national ID, email address, or custom alias)

Cash pickup (Éxito and Bank pickup): full name (must match their ID)

How does my recipient cash out?

Here is what your recipient may need to do depending on how you sent the money.

Bank transfer

Funds arrive directly in your recipient's bank account once processed. If your recipient has a Bancolombia account, they need to activate IMT (Abono Automático) first. They can do this through the Bancolombia website or by contacting their branch.

Daviplata

To withdraw cash from their Daviplata wallet, your recipient should:

  1. 1Open the Daviplata app and tap "Más"
  2. 2Select "Sacar plata" and follow the on-screen steps
  3. 3A code will be sent to their registered mobile number, the code is valid for 1 hour
  4. 4Use the code at a Corresponsal Bancario or ATM to withdraw

Nequi

Funds arrive directly in your recipient's Nequi wallet. They can withdraw at any Nequi-compatible ATM or Corresponsal Bancario.

Movii

Your recipient will receive a notification to accept the transfer. Once accepted, funds are credited to their Movii wallet. They can then withdraw at a Corresponsal Bancario.

Éxito (cash pickup)

There are no cashout fees at Éxito. Your recipient can collect at any Éxito, Carulla, or Súper Inter store, usually open from 8am to 8pm. They will need:

  • A valid Colombian ID (Cédula de Ciudadanía or Cédula de Extranjería issued in Colombia)
  • The redemption code (received by SMS, you can also share it with them directly)
  • To be 18 years old or older
  • On their first collection: to fill in and sign the "Formulario de Vinculación"

Transfers are paid out in Colombian pesos only.

Regular store hours: Éxito stores are open during regular retail hours and are not available 24/7. Transfers sent outside store hours will be ready for collection once the store opens.

Bank pickup (Uniteller)

Your recipient can collect at a Uniteller partner location with a valid ID and their transfer details.

Regular banking hours: Uniteller partner locations operate during regular banking hours and are not available 24/7.
