Bangladesh is one of Taptap Send's most popular corridors. Your recipient can receive money to a bKash, Nagad or Rocket wallet, a bank account, or via cash pickup at partner branches. The Bangladesh government also pays a 2.5% cash incentive on all international remittances sent through licensed services like Taptap Send.

Mobile wallet: The mobile number linked to your recipient's bKash, Nagad, or Rocket account.
Cash pickup: No details needed in advance, your recipient just needs their NID and the transfer reference number when they collect.
How does my recipient cash out?
Cash pickup
When your transfer is ready, your recipient will receive an SMS with a pickup code. You can also share this code via the Taptap Send app by tapping on the transfer and selecting "Share Code". Your recipient will need to present this code along with a valid ID at the cash pickup point.
Cash pickup is available at: BRAC (brac.net), Buro (burobd.org), City Bank (thecitybank.com), Dutch-Bangla Bank (dutchbanglabank.com), Islami Bank (islamibankbd.com).
bKash
The mobile number you enter must match exactly what is registered with your recipient's bKash account. Your recipient's bKash account must be fully verified (KYC completed). Unverified accounts may not be able to receive international remittances. They can verify at any bKash agent or Uddokta point.
To cash out via bKash: dial *247# to check their wallet balance, then visit the nearest bKash agent or ATM. For support: email support@bkash.com, call 16247, or use live chat at livechat.bkash.com.
Nagad
The mobile number you enter must be the exact number registered with Nagad. Your recipient needs an active and verified Nagad account to receive money. Cash-out charges depend on the type of account β your recipient can check the schedule at nagad.com.bd.
To cash out: go to the nearest Nagad Uddokta point β open the Nagad app or dial *167# β select Cash Out β scan the QR code or enter the Uddokta's number β enter the amount, then PIN β confirm the transaction. For help: info@nagad.com.bd or call 16167.
Rocket (DBBL)
Once the transfer arrives in your recipient's Rocket wallet, they will receive an SMS from Dutch-Bangla Bank (DBBL). They can then withdraw funds at an agent or ATM.
At an agent: visit any DBBL branch, DBBL-authorised agent, UISC, or Banglalink/Airtel/Mobicash outlet. The agent initiates the transaction, DBBL sends a confirmation request β your recipient confirms with their 4-digit PIN.
At a DBBL ATM: press Mobile Banking β enter the 12-digit Rocket account number β enter PIN β DBBL sends a confirmation message.
