What cards can I use with Taptap Send?

Using a debit card is the most popular way to pay for a transfer. Here's what we accept.

Cards we accept

  • Visa debit and Visa Electron
  • Mastercard debit
  • Discover (USA only)
  • Maestro (not accepted from the UK, and not if prepaid)
  • PostePay (Italy only)
  • Bancontact (Belgium only, Maestro cards only; leave the CVV field empty)
  • SOFORT by Klarna (Germany only - you'll be redirected to your bank to authorise the payment)
  • iDEAL/Wero (Netherlands only)

We also accept prepaid cards issued by the following banks:

  • Banca di Sassari
  • Banca Nazionale del Lavoro
  • Banco BPM
  • Belfius
  • Bibanca
  • bpost
  • Chebanca!
  • Crédit Agricole
  • Crédit Mutuel
  • Credito Emiliano
  • Intesa Sanpaolo
  • KBC Belgium
  • Revolut
  • UniCredit

We accept corporate cards in most countries. The exceptions are Canada and the UAE.

Cards we don't accept

  • Other prepaid cards
  • American Express
  • Maestro (from the UK)
  • Corporate cards (in Canada and the UAE)
  • Credit cards (except in Canada)
