What fees do I pay to send money with Taptap Send?

We believe in full transparency. You will always see the exact cost of your transfer before you confirm, with no surprises and no hidden charges.

Is my transfer fee-free?

Some transfers are fee-free. Others carry a small charge. It depends on where you are sending from and to, and how much you are sending.

Fees may apply to one type of transfer but not another. For example, a cash pickup to a given country may carry a fee, while a bank transfer to the same country is fee-free. It is always worth checking whether a different delivery method works out better for you. The fee, if any, is always shown clearly in the app before you confirm.

When there is no transfer fee, we make a small margin on the exchange rate instead. The rate you see is still competitive. We keep our margin small because we know how important every penny is.

How do I check my total costs before sending?

Open the app, choose your destination country, and enter an amount. The app will show you the exchange rate, any fee, and exactly how much your recipient will receive. Always review the summary screen before confirming, it gives you the full picture in one place.
