What details does my recipient need to provide?
Bank transfer: Their bank name, branch, and account number.
M-Pesa: Their M-Pesa registered phone number.
Tigo: Their Tigo registered phone number.
Airtel Money: Their Airtel Money registered phone number.
How does my recipient cash out?
Bank transfer: Funds appear directly in their Tanzanian bank account.
M-Pesa: Funds are available in their M-Pesa wallet immediately. To withdraw cash, they visit an M-Pesa agent, dial 15000#, select Withdraw Money, enter the agent's till number as advised by the agent, then enter their PIN and follow the prompts.
Tigo: Funds are available in their Tigo (Mixx by Yas) wallet immediately. To withdraw cash, they can visit the nearest Umoja ATM: dial 15001#, select Financial Services, then ATM Cash-out and Umoja ATM, enter the amount and their PIN to receive an OTP by text, then select Tigo on the ATM screen, enter the OTP and their Tigo number, and confirm the amount.
Airtel Money: Funds are available in their Airtel Money wallet immediately. To withdraw cash, they visit an Airtel Money agent or ATM, dial 15060#, select the withdraw option, and follow the prompts. No photo ID is required for withdrawal.
