EcoCash: No, funds are deposited directly into their EcoCash wallet.

What details does my recipient need to provide?

Mukuru Cash Pickup: Their full name as it appears on their ID.

EcoCash: Their EcoCash registered phone number.

How does my recipient cash out?

Mukuru Cash Pickup: Your recipient can go to any Mukuru branch, booth, or collection partner to collect the cash, presenting a valid ID.

EcoCash: Funds are deposited into their EcoCash wallet's diaspora balance. To use or withdraw them, they dial *151#, select USD currency, select Diaspora Services, then choose to cash out or transfer the funds to their main EcoCash wallet. Cash can be withdrawn at any of EcoCash's agents across Zimbabwe.
