Orange Money: No, funds are deposited directly into their Orange Money wallet.
Afrimoney: No, funds are deposited directly into their Afrimoney wallet.
QMoney: No, funds are deposited directly into their QMoney wallet.
What details does my recipient need to provide?
Cash pickup: Their full name as it appears on their national ID card (NIN card).
Orange Money: Their Orange phone number.
Afrimoney: Their Africell phone number.
QMoney: Their Qcell phone number.
How does my recipient cash out?
Cash pickup: Your recipient can withdraw the cash at the designated bank branch using the redemption code sent with the transfer notification. They'll need their national identity card (NIN card).
Orange Money: Funds are available in their Orange Money wallet immediately, accessible through the Max it app. They can use it for payments or withdraw cash at an Orange Money agent.
Afrimoney: Funds are available in their Afrimoney wallet immediately. They can manage the wallet by dialling *161#, and can cash out at any Afrimoney outlet, kiosk, authorized agent, or partner bank nationwide using their Afrimoney PIN.
QMoney: Funds are available in their QMoney wallet immediately. They can cash out at any QMoney agent outlet nationwide, or manage the wallet through the QMoney app.
