Can I cancel my transfer or get a refund?
If your transfer has already been delivered, recalling the funds can be difficult and take time. It is sometimes easier to resolve this directly with the recipient. Does my recipient need to do anything?
Bank transfer: No, funds are deposited directly into their bank account.
Bank pickup: No advance action, but they'll need valid ID to collect the cash at the bank branch.
Jet Peru cash pickup: No advance action, but they'll need valid ID (DNI, passport, or carnet de extranjería) to collect the cash at a Jet Peru agency.
Mobile money (Dale, Plin, Prexpe, Yape, Luqea): Yes, they need to already have the relevant app installed and their phone number registered with it, since these wallets deliver funds using the recipient's phone number.
What details does my recipient need to provide?
Bank transfer: Their CCI (interbank account code), a 20-digit number that identifies their specific bank account in Peru.
Bank pickup: Their full name as it appears on their ID and the pickup code from the transfer notification.
Jet Peru cash pickup: Their full name as it appears on their ID and the pickup code from the transfer notification.
Mobile money: The phone number they've registered with their Dale, Plin, Prexpe, Yape, or Luqea account.
How does my recipient cash out?
Bank transfer: Funds appear directly in their Peruvian bank account.
Bank pickup: Your recipient can collect the cash at the designated bank branch using their ID and the pickup code.
Jet Peru cash pickup: Your recipient can collect the cash at any of Jet Peru's agencies across Peru using their ID and the pickup code.
Mobile money: Funds are deposited directly into their Dale, Plin, Prexpe, Yape, or Luqea wallet, tied to their phone number. All five wallets are interoperable in Peru, so your recipient can receive funds this way regardless of which bank they use, and the money is available to spend or withdraw immediately.
