How will my recipient be notified of the delivery of the transfer?
When you send money with Taptap Send, here is what your recipient can expect depending on the transfer type.
Mobile money and bank transfers
Once the transfer is delivered, your recipient can check their mobile wallet or bank account balance directly to confirm the funds have arrived.
Cash pickups
Your recipient should receive the pickup code via WhatsApp or SMS. If they do not receive it, open the transfer details in the app where the code will be available. You can then share it with your recipient directly so they can collect their funds.
