How do I reset my password?

I've forgotten my password

1. 1Open the Taptap Send app.
2. 2Tap Log in.
3. 3Enter your email address (if not auto-populated).
4. 4Tap Trouble logging in?
5. 5A Reset password pop-up will appear. Choose how you'd like to reset your password: via your phone or by email.
6. 6Depending on your choice:
   
   Phone: you'll receive a verification code by text. Enter it in the app when prompted.
   
   Email: you'll receive an email with a link to create a new password. Click the link and follow the steps.
7. 7Create a new password. It must be at least 12 characters and include both upper and lowercase letters.
8. 8Tap Reset password, you're all done!

I want to change my password

If you know your current password and just want to update it:

1. 1Open the Taptap Send app.
2. 2Tap your initials in the top left corner.
3. 3Tap Personal Details.
4. 4Tap Change Password.
5. 5Enter your current password, then your new password.
6. 6Tap Change Password to confirm.

Tip: enable biometrics for faster log-in

Instead of entering your password each time, you can set up Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint recognition to log in with a single tap.

To enable it in the app:

1. 1Tap your initials in the top-left corner.
2. 2Go to Settings.
3. 3Tap Biometrics.
4. 4Slide to enable Biometrics.

Signed up with Google or Apple?

If you signed up using Google or Apple, you do not have a Taptap Send password. Log in using the Google or Apple sign-in options instead.
